Our 7 month old has terrible acid reflux. We're looking for a pediatrician with some expertise in this area. Please recommend your doc if you've had a good experience!
My friend's son had the same problem and they love Dr. Tanaka over at Carolina Kids. My daughter actually goes to Carolina Kids as well and I can't speak enough about all the doctors there. The practice is over by Rex Hospital.
We go to Cary Peds and they were great handling my daughter's acid reflux. We did have to put her on medicine for a few months but then were able to wean her off it just fine.
We use Triangle Pediatrics in Cary. My daughter came to them already on medication for her acid reflux and we were able to wean her off of them when she was one. I could probably answer a lot of your questions because she was hospitalized at 6 weeks and 12 weeks for this problem.
