afraid of carpool line
Do not know why but I am afraid of the car pool line at school. I am really nervous about picking up and dropping off my son. He is starting kindergarten in September. I have an older car and it smokes. My son wants to ride the school bus. Wonder how safe that is. Would be afraid of him getting run over. It is going to hard at first not having my son at home all day. I enjoyed being home with him but am glad to be working part time again. Well bye for now.

Enjoy the transition of your son going to kindergarten! You can enjoy hearing his stories of what he's done when he's not with you (if you are lucky enough to be a mom who gets that info from her son.) I agree: carpool lines are scary! Really, all those kids so close to all those cars coming and going at once. Other parents that use the bus can tell you about how safe your son's particular school bus is. There is a wide variation, obviously. Most are wonderful.
