Off to Africa: Botswana (an AIDs capital of the world) and Zambia next month before rainy season there, hoping to avoid malaria carrying mosquito breeding season. Home from College already!
Such a joy to have my son come home from freshman year of college as an independent, delightful adult this week! All those hours/days/years of parenting were worth every second.

My brother in law' is from Zambia and his family home is now a hotel where his parents run safaris out of. Please let me know where you are staying.
I'll be at the Mfuwe Lodge in South Luangwa National Park. I am looking for a place to stay near Lusaka still, since I have one overnight before flying out the next morning that I don't know where to stay. Suggestions welcome (rustic fine, unsafe not fine since I'll be traveling alone then!)
