Anyone expecting and looking to connect with other local mothers -to- be?
Just looking to connect with other moms-to-be who are expecting around April of 2010. Of course, any other expecting mothers would be great too! I live near Southpoint Mall in Durham and have a friend who is 1w2d behind me in her pregnancy. I just thought it would be really great to get to know some other moms to be in the area. My friend and I are both pregnant with our first babies. I've had two miscarriages but received great news at the ultrasound today. Baby looks great at 8w5d. First time we have gotten far enough to see a heartbeat! Very excited!
Anyway, any new moms to be, I'd love to correspond/meetup with you to share resources, first trimester woes, and become a support system for each other in general!

I'm NOT expecting but just wanted to say CONGRATS!!! That's fantastic you got to see the heartbeat today. We have also had 2 miscarriages so I understand the slight sigh of relief that brings. Congrats again!!

A great way to meet expectant moms around your due date is to sign up for prenatal workout classes like water aerobics. It does help to have the support of an entire class of preggies like you!
I'm also expecting my first baby in June 2010, and I definitely want to meet some other moms-to-be in the area! Put me on your list! :)
