Back to TriangleMom2Mom with a New Look

Hey ya'll! Summer has really been go-go. Any wonder my last publish here was ... about the length of Summer. Ocean, sand, mix in two Tigers. Sunshine and Voila it's almost August.

Hot Topic going on right now: Carolina Mama's new look. Realistically, the new look came about Springtime. Brunette was fun and my hairdresser who helped chose said 'look' convinced that my blue eyes would really pop in the Christmas Card picture was right. It was a lovelier than Angelina Jolie honeykissed brunette. (the price was lovelier than even Jolie's guru's too... but that is another day's publish) However, Blonde is me!

So without much ado and with eight great months of not recognizing myself in the mirror, I am back to well, myself. It was interesting. I matched Mountain Man but the Tigers felt left out. You see, they got the bright blonde full locks from Mama.

Actually, the Tigers were fine with Mama's 'experiment.' It was when I was back to reading to the children at school's "Book and a Bite" that the children began to say things like, "Now, your hair matches your skin." Well, now that you mentioned it so scholarly Lindsey, you're right on spot. Or, "You got your hair back." And frankly, that and Victoria did just that.

Mountain Man and the Tigers didn't miss a beat. Now, I just noticed there were not double takes from me in the mirror.

About my 'experience' - which could help your 'experience' should you, you know, mistake who you are for a month or eight.

Things I learned:

1) didn't expect to love my hair brunette as much as I did.

2) didn't expect others to love my hair brunette.

3) my hair was a bit more smooth

4) blonde is me - stick to you and you'll go places!

What's your hair experience?!

*Excuse me while I do a little "IT" with TriangleMom2Mom so I can upload my BlondeSelf. Just remember, it's still CarolinaMama.

Hi CarolinaMama,

Are you cutting and pasting from another document onto the site? If so, that may be why your paragraphs aren't showing up. Cutting and pasting from something like Text Edit or Notepad should work fine, but not from a word document, for instance.

Let me know how I can help,

OK - I love you a lot better as a blonde. You look great!

And for uploading photos, all you need to do is click on the little picture of the tree at the top of the box where you write your blog. To post a photo on the site, the photo needs to be on the Web somewhere. Posting it on Mom2Mom works fine. Just make sure that whatever you're uploading to the site has .jpg at the end of it.

If that doesn't make sense - probably could be a better explanation there - let me know.

Thanks!

Sarah
