Barter4kids Consignment Sale Coming Soon
Hello, I am trying to get the word out about our upcoming sale at the end of the month. I have always shopped at Consignment sales and love the concept, but things being what they are these days, I've not had the chance to shop much for my kids. I've been selling kids clothes on ebay for 6 years and have had some success, but even that's not going great these days.
So I had this Brainstorm one day and started thinking about bartering kids clothes. After lots of work and talking to friends, we are holding the first one soon, April 30- May 3!
It is just like a Consignment sale in every way, except you will not spend MONEY. There is a consignor fee, but you get 100% trade credit for all your items you bring. If you don't spend all your credit at the sale, you will get to keep the remainder credit for the next sale, which I plan to have in August, a BEFORE SCHOOL SALE!! This way you can shop for your kids school clothes instead of spending your money.
My new motto is "SAVE YOUR CASH FOR YOUR BILLS"
If you are interested in being a Consignor, please go to the website and join, we only have 28 days left! I can't wait!! The only people that will be able to shop are the Consignors, so it will be somewhat smaller than a regular sale, but also we hope to keep it more personal too.
There are several Sponsors on the website that are offering discounts just for mentioning our name, so have a look at some of them and get a deal on all kinds of things. ;)
The website is http://www.barter4kids.com
Please join today, we are looking forward to seeing you there.
The location will be held at Kim's Kids at 1235 Sanders Road just off Hwy 50 going towards McGees Crossroads, turn left at Don Lee's Store and Kim's Kids in down on the Right.
Or if you are coming from 1010, turn right on Raleigh Rd and Right on Sanders Rd, Kim's Kids is on your Left. If you need better directions, there's a map on the website.Â
UPDATE: I have had numerous inquiries about doing a ladies and mens sale, so FYI I will consider doing this type of sale in the same fashion as the kids if I can generate enough interest. Thanks!!
