Holden Beach is the best family beach...quiet, peaceful, and friendly people! It doesn't have tons of attractions, but plenty for kids that include putt-putt, a small waterslide, and of course ice cream parlors! :)

I also really like Holden Beach - not a lot of extras (mini golf, etc.) if I remember, but it's really quiet, peaceful there.
