Hello everyone...It looks like the majority of these posts are all about babies. But I would really like some advice here. I have been dating a guy for 2 years. We are getting ready to get married and I am very nervous about moving in with him and his kids. We live pretty far apart so i have never had to "parent" them yet although I have met them. I have two children of my own, and we have talked alot about logistics of how this is going to work, but alot of me is still VERY nervous about the move in date. My children are 6, and 5. His children are 9, 7, 4 and 4. His wife passed away when the twins were only a year. So I guess I am really just looking for advice on the first few days of life under one roof. Has anyone had to merge two big families like this? If so how did you manage things like laundry and cooking, and homework and after school interests. I am very nervous that I will not be able to keep working, which is an option we have discussed. I love him very much and I look forward to marrying him, but my stomach gets queezy when I think about all the little things...Please offer some advice if you have any! Thanks....Julia
