Cary Towne Center play area
The new kid's play area is open at Cary Towne Center in the Sears wing. See the end of Sue's column in The N&O. Anybody check it out yet?
Love the one at Triangle Town Center in North Raleigh. We've spent a few rainy mornings there.

I miss spending time with my children at the Triangle Town Center play area. Now my children are older, and want to actually go into the stores and buy things! Enjoy it while you can!
It is very nice that she's not at the point yet where she's always asking me to buy her something.
The area is nice, but TINY. My daughter's 2.5, and I think she's already a little old for it. I definitely don't think it's a place that you'd want to go and really hang out (like the one at Southpoint).
But at least CTC has the carousel. There are many, many things my daughter will do on the promise of a carousel ride.
