Donate your dresses
Toni Carpenter, who runs the Upscale Resale sale, needs your help.
Her church, Apex United Methodist Church, will be holding a Prom Shoppe on Saturday, April 4, for girls who can't afford to purchase their own dress. The shop has about 50 gowns from church members and the community but they need more. They'll take bridesmaid dresses, cocktail dresses, any kind of fancier frock.
Toni says you can drop the dresses off at the church all day Friday until about 7 p.m. I know that I've got a couple hanging out in my closet.
