Dr. Seuss Turns 105

Monday would have been Dr. Seuss' 105th birthday. He was born in Springfield, Mass. on March 2, 1904. Thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite Dr. Seuss books.

We're big Seuss readers in my house and have all the old favorites, but I think my favorite right now is Marvin K. Mooney Will You Please Go Now! There's a bit of a political slant to it apparently. But the reason it's my favorite is because my daughter is just beginning to really start reading and the first word she was able to read was "go." So she loves to read this book on her own because on every page there's at least one word that she knows.

What's your favorite?
