Just learned about this nice giveaway for moms at North Hills in Raleigh this Saturday.  The first 100 to show up at the Farmers Market will get a free potted plant.

The market is open from 8 a.m .to noon on Saturdays.

North Hills can be a fun place to take kids. Many nights, the little green in front of Starbucks and Ben & Jerry's, is teeming with kids. Lots of kid-friendly restaurants too. My house particularly loves the Hot Point Cafe.
