Free Stuff for Dad

Thought I'd pass along Sue Stock's story in The N&O today listing some freebies for dad. I can always get behind a reason to get ice cream.

They include a free order of beer-battered onion rings with the purchase of an entree from TGI Fridays. You must print a voucher from the restaurant chain's Web site.

A free cup or cone of frozen yogurt at all TCBY stores. Go here for Triangle locations.

Cold Stone Creamery stores offer Dad a free Love It-size sundae creation. Here are Triangle locations.

Starting today and running through Monday, all dads will get a free pair of Thorlos socks with any shoe purchase at Foot Solutions stores in Raleigh and Cary.

Hair Saloon for Men, Athletic Nation, Char-Grill and GolfTEC are teaming up for a giveway, including rounds of golf, haircuts and Char-Grill gift certificates. Register early or attend the free event from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, at Hair Saloon for Men at 3675 SW Cary Parkway in Cary.

North Hills in Raleigh also is having a Father's Day event during its Farmer's Market from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will be locally grown produce, live music, and demonstrations and displays for Father's Day. Many of the stores will be offering some deals for dad.
