Hannah Montana: The Movie

Anybody heading out to see the new Hannah Montana movie this weekend?

Looks like the reviewers are not big fans of it. Here's a round-up of reviews of the movie on Rotten Tomatoes. Not great overall, though it doesn't look like any of them are in Hannah's target audience: 6- to 14-year-old girls.

When we found out we were expecting a baby girl, my husband said "OH PLEASE NO HANNAH MONTANA!". Hahaha.

My daughter has never seen the show, but some of her friends at school love it and she enjoys running around the house as "Sanna" Montana screaming "I'm a rock star."

Some sad news for Miley fans ... she's not headed to N.C.: http://www.newsobserver.com/business/story/1479960.html

My daughter loves Hannah Montana! She had a Hannah Montana birthday party yesterday so I told her we would go see the movie next week.

With 4 girls ages 7-13, I'm sorta stuck. HAHA. They'll love the movie no matter what, so yes, we're going to see it tomorrow.

Reporting back for a movie review: I was not looking forward to the movie, but I was pleasantly surprised! The movie was so incedibly wholesome, cute, and fun. The music was suurprisingly non-irritating, the scenery was beautiful and the storyline was engaging. I cannot imagine why it got any bad reviews but the other mom that I went with (and our 6 girls- ages 7-14 LOVED it).
