Have Interview? Need Childcare? Check Little Pros

Little Pros Academy is offering free child care to Triangle families who need a place to drop off their kids while on job interviews.

The Cary-based chain is offering the free care at its Morrisville and East Cary locations. It likely will be expanded to its North Raleigh school off Falls of Neuse Road when it opens in March 2009, said Mike Sullivan, who works in the company's corporate office.

"We're trying to help families out in the local community who may have been laid off and don't have child care coverage during the day and may need to get out to do some interviews," Sullivan said.

Little Pros will be able to take toddlers through five-year-olds. The Morrisville school is on Keybridge Drive off Chapel Hill Boulevard. The East Cary site is at 6560 Tryon Road.

With the nation officially in a recession and unemployment in North Carolina at about 7 percent, Sullivan said he expects Little Pros will offer the program for the foreseeable future.

"We're going to continue this for a long period of time ... with the economy the way it is right now," he said.

Parents who need child care must contact the director of the school to ensure space is available and to fill out the necessary forms. Click here to get contact information for the East Cary and Morrisville sites.
