Hello Out There

Hello everyone. My name is Kimberly. My claim to fame is that I have six, yes six wonderful blessings. My husband and I started having children in 1999. We have had a child in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, and 2007. We are going for an odd year thing. We messed up and had one born in an even year. We have five boys who are 9,8,6,3, and 10 months. We have one little princess who is 5. We made the decision to homeschool before our children were born. Our kids have never gone to public school. I spend my days teaching our kids and do not have a lot of time to socialize with other adults. My husband walks in the door and he says I talk his ear off. When you have spent the day talking with children you need adult communication. I love being a keeper of my home and a help meet to my husband. Being a mom is not so bad either. Actually it is the best thing in the world. I just wanted to say hi and see if there are any other homeschooling moms that have larger families. I know there must be some that belong here.

Welcome to the site! Wow - six kids! Now I feel pitiful with just one.

There are definitely homeschoolers out there with large families on this site. They've just been lurking. I hope they say hi!

I only homeschool for preschool, but have highly considered homeschooling further. Welcome!
