How do you keep your milk supply up once you return to work?

Okay I've been back at work for about two weeks now and I'm already experiecing a drought in my milk supply. Does anyone out there have any tips or tricks to the trade to prevent this from happening?

Don't skip a pumping session - always pump when you'd be nursing your child. And try pumping after you nurse - that can help pick things up. You can always drink the fenugreek tea - though I never tried that. It's supposed to boost supply. Eating oatmeal actually seemed to help my supply when it got low.

Good luck! It's hard work but worth it.

I did not work, but I did take the tea and the fenugreek pills. They helped immensely!

When I went back to work in May, I made a point to pump every few hours. I would also nurse my baby as soon as I got home, even I didn't have a lot to offer.

I spent some weekends on the couch with the baby attached. This helped get me ready for the work week.

Another thing I have noticed is that when I exercise my supply increases significantly.
