Kids in the Kitchen

The Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties will be helping about 400 pre-selected kids and their parents with information about healthy eating at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham today.

It's part of a national Junior League program aimed at reversing the growth of childhood obesity, which sounds like a great thing to me.

There's a possibility that the local group may offer a program to the public in the future, but, for now, the national Web site has some great kid-friendly recipes on it.
