Kidzu Free on Sundays

Some news from Kidzu: The children's museum in Chapel Hill is now free on Sundays thanks to a grant from Durham Regional Hospital.

The free Sundays started a couple of Sundays ago and continue for the next year.

And starting on Sundays this month, Kidzu also will offer free child development and child health information, including free dental health screenings, guidance on raising healthy kids and other information. Funding from the Orange County Partnership for Young Children has made that possible along with allowing Kidzu to offer free field trips to low-income kids and to hire an outreach coordinator.

Kidzu is open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays (when parking is free in downtown Chapel Hill). Check out Kidzu's Web site for the details.
