Luxury Pregnancies

Just saw this story in The Washington Post today about how certain women are going all out during their pregnancies - spa visits, babymoons, push presents, etc.

I was just happy to get through the day when I was pregnant, didn't really luxuriate in any thing except a lot of pudding. I couldn't get enough of it.

But I know there are places out there in the Triangle that cater to pregnant women. Anybody have any favorites?

I wouldn't say I've "gone all out", but I did treat myself to a prenatal massage over the weekend which was fabulous and worth every penny (although I wouldn't pay for it again). I went to Massage Envy in Wilmington, but I believe there are several locations throughout the Triangle. The introductory price is $39/hour + tip and after that, the prices sky rocket.

I tried to convince my husband to take a babymoon, but he wasn't going for it. Considering my daughter is due 3 days after our 3 year anniversary, I've asked for an anniversary/push present - nothing huge - but it would be nice to have something tangible to remember the event.

Of course...if he wins the lottery, I expect diamonds... :)
