Major Recall: Little Tikes Workshop Sets
Little Tikes and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have recalled about 1.6 million Little Tikes workshop sets and trucks because they could pose a choking hazard.
The toys have oversized plastic toy nails that can pose a choking hazard to young kids. An 11-month-old
boy from South Carolina choked when the nail became lodged in his throat. He's made a full recovery.
The oversized nail is about 3 1/4 inches long by 1 1/14 inch in diameter and comes in red or blue. It has a large round head. They were sold with a variety of Little Tikes products at retailers nationwide from March 1994 to June 2009.
