Meet Cady!
Cady Driver is our TriangleMom2Mom mom of the week. Cady (cadydid) has been a great Mom2Mom member and is a talented muralist.
Here's Cady!
Mom2Mom: Tell us about yourself.
Cady: I'm a stay at home mom of three wonderful kids and I've been married to my wonderful
husband for 10 years. I spend a large portion of my time homeschooling and I spend my weekends and nights painting custom children's murals for my clients and designing art and canvases for custom orders. As a part of my business, I also like to donate my murals to sick or housebound children. Some of my best work is when I volunteer for these brave kids. My website is www.cadydidrooms.com.
Mom2Mom: What's your favorite family place in the Triangle?
Cady: I think that our favorite family place by far has to be Benson Lake Park. The new playground there is awesome and we sometimes pack up our books on a nice day and do school on a blanket in the grass.
Mom2Mom: What's your favorite place for yourself in the Triangle?
Cady: My own personal favorite place in the Triangle area has to be in my house sitting at my easel painting a new idea. I know that's pathetic, but it's my favorite place! :)
Mom2Mom: What's your favorite ritual with your kids?
Cady: My favorite ritual with my kids I think has to be when we memorize poetry or scripture together and recite it to daddy. He's always so impressed and it gives my kids a big thrill to impress their father.
Mom2Mom: What did you eat for dinner last night?
Cady: Dinner last night was Sausage Navy Bean Soup. Ballet night is usually soup night b/c it's easy to just heat up a previously prepared soup after we get home late. It's a great recipe and I can share it if anyone is interested.
Mom2Mom: What's your guilty pleasure?
Cady: Last but not least, my guilty pleasure has to be eating a York Peppermint Patty while reading a good political book. I'm a nerd, I know. I can't help it! I love to read!
If you know a mom we should feature, e-mail me.

I would love that recipe Cady!

You surprised me with your interest in political books. Do you mean fiction or nonfiction and which ones would you recommend?
Do you have a website? I have always thought about having a mural painted but wanted to know a little more first. Thank you.
