I loved playing with Barbie Dolls. My mother actually made most of the clothing that I had for my Barbies unless they were the clothes that came with the doll. I had a beautiful wedding gown for her and I played for hours "Here comes the Bride". Later I was lucky enough to receive the RV as a gift and she actually got to go on a honeymoon. I am not sure if Ken got to come along ...that part was never important to me!

My favorite classic children's toy is Mr & Mrs. Potato Head. My children love their potato head family & it's a great toy for younger kids to work on their fine motor skills!

My all-time favorite childhood toy was the game of Life - although becoming a Doctor gave you the best chance of getting through the game without being totally broke, I actually liked becoming a Teacher instead. Much more fulfilling I think. Oh, and getting twins was awesome, seeing the car overloaded with people. And don't forget the chance to win the lottery! Hated paying the taxes, that was a drag...They just don't make games the same way these days......

I loved playing and making things with my Easy Bake Oven. I would bake all kinds of treats for my brother and myself. Every Christmas my brother would buy me bake mixes to go along with this oven. I guess he really enjoyed my oven too!

My favorite were all my Barbie dolls! I would play with them for hours on end and played with them sooner than my other little friends and continued playing even when my friends stopped! I cannot wait to play Barbies with my little girl!!

I don't know if you'd consider them classic toys, but Star Wars figures. My sister and I were sort of tomboys and inherited most of our older brother's toys instead of getting a lot of our own. We'd build Luke and Leia houses out of Lincoln Logs and dig out snow forts for them.

I know I will be aging myself, but my favorite classic toy are " jacks. " My grandmother in her granny shoes, silk stockings and apron would sit on the kitchen floor and play with me everyday !

My favorites (I had 2) have to be the weebles treehouse. The weebles that looked like eggs - not the weebles with arms! And the spirograph - that was the coolest thing EVER!!!

I probably played with my Barbies the most! They had the most exciting lives with me dressing and redressing them! I even made a minature school for them with little books & tests.

My favorite all time toy is Mr. Potato Head. When I was little all you had to choose from was the basic facial features. Now you have sooooo many choices. Both my kids LOVE to pick out different themes to dress the potato as. :)

My favorite classic toy is Monopoly. I was an only child and Monopoly was a game I enjoyed every weekend with my cousins. We had so much fun accumulating huge amounts of money. Ok, we played with so much money (and for many hours) that we’d combine the paper money and hotels pieces from our games into one. Each weekend, we’d play past our curfew and we’d get caught because of our tummy aching laughter; I’m sure we woke everyone up. We of course developed a system to “borrow money” from the bank and frequently created our own rules but these had to be established before the game began. Every now and then, a new player came along and my female cousin and I tried our hardest to swindle him out of his money or property. This game brings back great memories of laughter, competition, and all types of mischievous behaviors from the creative minds of ten year old girls.

Legos, but I didn't get any until I had my own children! Now when they want to play with mommy, that's typically what we play with!

My favorite classic toy would be one that dates back further than my actual age - it was a Kewpie doll. Given to me by my doctor's wife when I was young and dressed in a red and white striped one piece outfit with no moving parts or anything animated about it but it was just such a cute little doll and was a companion for years.

My favorite classic toy is Tinkertoy. I was so happy to see it back on the shelves a few years ago. I bought a box for my son who was 2 then. He loves it too! He builds so many things. My favorite is an airplane. I love the most that I can still play! It inspires so much and allow kids to use their imagination.
