Aw man, this is hard. I think today I identify with Charlie Brown. In the last week our fridge needed work, someone bumped my mini van at a stop light, and my daughter had a stomach bug.

Wow what a great question. When I was growing up- everyone called me Peppermint Patty. I had a hair cut just like her and had glasses- my friends call me this so much- that my teachers started calling me that! Of course at my 15yr- high school reunion this past year- all anyone could remember was Peppermint Patty!

I love Lucy- I try to get my kids to watch the carton- but they are lost on the teacher.. but even as an adult i never miss- The great pumkin charlie brown; the charlie brown christmas.. i'm still a kid at heart!

I would most identify with Lucy.

I used to get such a chuckle from the "wah wah wah wah" voice the teacher had on the cartoon.

Hmmm, maybe Woodstock. I'm not sure which direction I'm going in!

I think I am more like Charlie Brown - I fall for things all the time. (Like Lucy with the football!)

Charlie Brown - about the time I get to the football someone pulls it away.

My child would identify with Snoopy - always on the go ignoring what people tell her. Lol

SNOOPY...HE IS IMAGINATIVE AND CREATIVE. HE IS ALWAYS ON THE MOVE, DOING SOMETHING.
(I AM A MOM OF 2 BOYS AND A KINDERGARTEN TEACHER, SO I ACT LIKE SNOOPY 24/7!)

I most identify with Linus--logical, mature and people seek us when they need some advice or someone to listen. But we're still young at heart...

Sally -
i'm a little silly sometimes but I love my brother and am loyally in love with my hubby! i'd believe him if he told me about the great pumpkin...

I identify with Snoopy today. He loves to lie outside on top of his doghouse and I am enjoying being outside too.

That is a hard question. Even my husband and daughter have different opinions. One says I look like Marcie; the other says I'm most like Lucy. I think Snoopy is my favorite character, but my daughter is more like him than I.

Some days it's Shroeder - when i get the chance to play piano; most days it's Pig Pen - my house is so dusty!

I identify with Charlie Brown. When I was a kid I felt like things were never easy for me, but in the end they turned out okay.

Well even though my namesake is Marcie and I do look a little like her, I would have to say I most identify with Snoopy. Because no matter what life throws at him, he rises to the occasion (whether that requires legal services or a WWII flying ace). And he's not afraid to break out into dance at the drop of a hat or Linus' blanket. So if we aspire to be the best we can be but remember to dance, we'd all have a Snoopy kind of day.

While I believe there is a little bit of Charlie Brown in all of us the Peanuts character I most identify with is Frieda. We both have naturally curly hair, love our hair, but appreciate the perils that come with it.

Hi there, I would have to say I relate to Snoopy, I have four small children ages 1,2,3 and 4 and I have to stay adventureous, and imaginative and I have always been quirky. I have to admit there are days in which I wish I could escape, even to the top of a doghouse or pretend that maybe I was an airplane pilot. There is a little snoopy in all of us.

I identify with all the teachers/grown ups because no one listens to me , and my voice is nothing but background noise.

I agree with Sally's philosophy:
Oh, yeah. That's what you think.
Why are you telling me?
I can't stand it!
No!!!!!

I identify with Snoopy, because I use my keen sense of hearing to explore how to relate and respond to others. I believe life is a marathon of persistent reaching out, and I see Snoopy doing that. I like tennis, sometimes failing miserably, and I love pizza and root beer. And when life just gets to be too much, a little nap goes a long way.

lucy1969's picture

I am Lucy! This identification extends as far back as my earliest memory. I have a track record of mentoring younger siblings on important things (football placement, kicking down sand castles, how to change teachers when they don’t agree with you and avoiding kisses from dumb, dirty beagles). My confidence and decisiveness are often misunderstood as bossy or even crabby by many clueless others.

Early on, I ended my younger sister’s addiction to her security blanket by throwing it in the trash.

In college, I majored in psychology, building on a lifetime of dispensing advice to the less attuned.

I got Schroeder in the end! My husband is an accomplished pianist who would be nowhere near the level he is now without my advice and support.

Most of all, I never made a mistake in my life. I thought I did once, but I was wrong.

Snoopy is my alter ego. Sometimes, I am Snoopy. First, I have a beagle and everything I know, I learned from my dog. Second, I can change my mood to fit the circumstances. If the situation calls for it, I can fight and growl, be sweet and loving, or go off and be a WWI flying ace.I have a little pal (my son), who reminds me a bit of Woodstock. I have an "owner" (my husband-just like Charlie Brown) and I'm so Joe Cool. Too Joe Cool for school! Finally, I love to be outdoors! I'd love to win those tickets as I've been downloading all the old Charlie Brown and Snoopy shows for my four-year-old on my Ip0d and he just loves them. It gives me great pleasure to share what I loved as a kid with him.By the way, don't forget that the "Great Pumpkin" episode comes on tomorrow night at 8 on ABC!Slurp!

Definitely Marcie. Booksmart but somewhat naive. Plus, my kids are embarrassed by my athletic ineptness just like Peppermint Patty is frustrated with Marcie's lack of athletic ability. When I was younger, before contact lenses, I even had the big glasses to go with it!
