In the Motherhood
Anybody planning on watching this show? It debuts on ABC on Thursday and is supposed tell the story of three moms. Here's the show's Web site.
It started as a Web series last year to market products. I watched a few of the Web episodes last fall and they were pretty funny. They were supposed to tell real motherhood tales shared by viewers.
Apparently, because of contracts with the writers' guild, they can't tell real stories. Writers will have to make up their own, according to this NY Times story.
Still, I'll probably watch Thursday night. I like a couple of the actresses - Cheryl Hines of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Megan Mullally of Will & Grace. Hopefully it will be 30 minutes of mindless entertainment.

It was mindless. But not too entertaining, I thought.
I agree. Some of the office scenes kind of felt like they were straight out of the show "The Office," which is much funnier.
