New dinosaur trail

I got a preview of the Museum of Life and Science's new dinosaur trail over the weekend in Durham.

The 1/4-mile trail opens to the public July 25, but members, media and bloggers got to go early starting this past Saturday through this coming Sunday.

Here's my story, along with a photo gallery of the trail, if you want to take a look.

I'll agree with the mom I interviewed, who thought it would be bigger. But it's still worth a look especially if your kids are into dinosaurs. Some of them are gigantic. And the fossil dig area will be a magnet once it open in time for the grand opening. You can read more about the trail on the museum's Web site.

And a visit to the museum always makes me realize how much I need to get my daughter over there more often!
