There are several ways readers can interact with the site. You can post photos and comment on other people's photos; start up a forum topic and respond to questions or comments in a forum; and write your own blog and comment on other people's blog posts.

The site looks blog-focused right now for a couple of reasons. We have eight featured bloggers writing everyday. And we have a few other readers who have started up their own blogs on the site. So we have some blogging activity.

The other reason is that we're only two weeks old and we don't have a lot of activity in the forums.

I've heard from other users that one reason our forum activity is low, so far, is because it's hard to jump into topics. When you see the list of all the forum topics, you have to click on one to jump into a forum and start participating. It's like an extra step that's not required on forums at other sites.

We've tried to resolve that, for now, by listing the "most active forums" and the "newest forum topics" on the right hand side of the forum page. Here's the link to check it out: http://www.trianglemom2mom.com/forum

I'm not sure if that answers your question and I'd love to hear about other ways to improve the site.

I am an Independent Pampered Chef Consultant. I was wondering if I could post monthly specials that are happening w/ PC or let people know that I sell it and if they want to have a Home Cooking Party or catalog show to contact me.
