Upscale Resale is having a trunk show and overstock sale May 5 through May 8 in the Holly Springs and Apex area.

Toni Carpenter and Katy Williams, two Triangle-area moms, started up Upscale Resale last year. They specialize in high-end gently used or new children's clothing. They have semi-annual sales in western Wake County, but recently began selling clothing online and will hold a sale in Greensboro from Thursday through Saturday.

At the sale in Apex and Holly Springs, hundreds of samples and overstocks from trunk show lines Sweet Tea, Gigi & Jack and Three Mommas along with duds from a manufacturer of smocked childrenswear will be available.

The sale is at 509 Wescott Ridge Dr., Holly Springs, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., May 5, and, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., May 6.

It's from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., May 7, and, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., May 8, at 1004 Napa Place in Apex.
