Our favorite quick meal is spaghetti!
Our favorite quick meal is nachos loaded with beans and cheese...
at least twice a month we do breakfast for dinner - eggs, packaged hash browns, frozen "soy"sage, bagels or toast.
also we like to cook some frozen ravioli and toss with sauteed veggies - often just squash & zucchini w/ garlic. add some shredded cheese to finish it up.
favorite = yummy and ez to make (vs just ez to make!) = cowboy stew. several different kinds of beans, ground beef, corn, tomato sauce/diced tomatoes, mushrooms, lil onion and spices.... one dish meal, and kids love it.... as do we! serve with rolls, salad, cornbread, or by itself.
My family's favorite quick meal is anything Hamburger Helper! Don't know what I would do without it.
Our favorite quick meal is Sloppy Joe's with tater tots! :)
We love mac 'n cheese with browned turkey. Pair it with a fruit and pears.
Buffalo Chicken Salad made with baked and sliced into strips chicken fingers out of the freezer doused with Buffalo chicken wing sauce. With grated cheese, croutons, diced tomatoes, celery (of course) and topped with Blue Cheese or Ranch salad dressing.... all this over the lettuce you have on hand. Feeling WILD WEST... add black olives, corn, avocado and substitute tortilla chips for the croutons.
our quick easy meal is beans, corn, salsa, and hamburger - top with cheese in a tortilla!
We haven't named it, but this is our favorite (even my toddler eats it): Sprinkle some thin sliced chicken breasts with your favorite herb combination (and a little Nature's Seasoning) and saute in a little olive oil. You want them browned a bit for flavor (approx. 8 to 10 minutes). Slice in strips. In your saute pan, cook frozen or fresh onion slivers until translucent and mushroom slices until softened, add fresh spinich and saute until wilted. Add all of this in to cooked whole wheat penne pasta. Halve some grape tomatoes and add some capers. Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Toss and serve. Total time - 25 minutes.
Spaghetti squash! Cut in half, scoop out the seeds and goop and cook face down for 45 mins at 350. You don't have to do anything to it! When done and slightly cooled off, use a fork to pull it out and sprinkle w. loads of parmesan cheese! You can use this as a meal, a side, or whatever you'd use pasta for! YUM!
Easy jambalaya with kielbasa sausage. My whole family loves it. Let me know if you need the recipe. It only takes moments to make!
Our quick meal is meatball sandwiches.
Our favorite quick meal is Empanadas :D They are so simple and quick to make and still good for ya!!!
We call it "free-choice dinner" -- anything you can find in the fridge or freezer. Otherwise, tacos.
My favorite quick meal is an "impossible chicken pie" using Bisquick and canned chicken. All the items are shelf stable and can be kept on hand for unexpected guest meal.
French toast with fresh fruit! Fast, simple, and a nice twist at dinner time. Everyone loves it!
My family LOVES this quick and easy meal:
(Homemade Tacos)
1 lb. extra lean ground beef (or ground turkey, if you prefer)
1 reg. can of Manwich
1 small can of Armour Chili (with or without beans)
Taco Shells/or Tortilla wraps
Brown the meat, drain, stir in the Manwich and chili and heat through. Of course you can add whatever other ingredients you like
such as sour cream, lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, etc., etc., etc. :)
If you wish to cook for a larger group, use 2 lbs. of meat, Large can of Manwich and Large can of Armour Chili with/without beans. I've had such good success & taste with these particular brands, and that's why I named them. Other chili brands just don't have the consistency or taste I like.
Our favorite quick meal is chicken bake. Take some cut up chicken mix with cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom, frozen brocilli or mixed vegetables, and rice then top with your favorite stove top stuffing (we prefer chicken). We do a side salad to make the meal complete. Not only is this meal quick, but it is an easy clean up as well.
Our meal would be pot stickers with brown rice and vegies.
My favorite quick meal is grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup! Yummy! Especially on a cold, rainy day.
Zatarain's Black Beans and Rice in flour tortillas topped with cheese like a bean & rice burrito.
Our favorite quick meal is Pizza Spaghetti Pie!
It seems like everything I make these days are 'quick meals.' A recent one that my husband loves is cook a huge pork roast (found one recently for $5!) in the crockpot all day. Come home, shred it or not, put on buns and enjoy with some chips. Takes 5 minutes of prep time in the morning and about the same in the evening.
Spaghetti or homemade pizzas - we always have the ingredients on hand to throw it together in a flash!
Stromboli - bread dough, any combination of lunch meat and cheese.... yum!
We make homemade pizza with store-bought or bread maker pizza dough. It cleans the fridge of leftover cheeses, veggies and meats. It is a kid friendly activity and everyone is happy with their own choice of topping.
We love to make waffles for dinner. It's fast and so delicious. Our favorite recipe is the Waffle House copycat recipe- google it if you want it. We make extras and freeze them for later too!
Toasted English muffins with Peanut Butter, grilled banana's and honey on top, with a side of yogurt and strawberries. 10 minutes (because of the grilling), and pretty healthy too.
Edamame is an excellent, quick appetizer. My daughter loves to pop the beans out of the pod! When my husband's on the road and I don't feel like cooking for myself and my two year old daughter, we'll heat up some edamame! For a complete meal, it's paired perfectly with easy to make Asian Lettuce Wraps: (rice, teriyaki chicken, bean sprouts, shredded carrots, shredded cucumbers, topped with Peanut sauce and wrapped in butter leaf lettuce). *Notice peanut sauce may need a substitute if allergies are present!
We love tuna melts and a side salad of arugula with lemon juice and olive oil. The tuna melts can be made like traditional grilled cheeses or in a panini pan. We love our pannini pan. It makes any sandwich seem special. Use some nice bread to dress it up a bit - ciabatta is a good choice.
Chicken and Broccoli with white rice with soy sauce.

My favorite quick meal is chicken noodle soup and a grilled ham & cheese sandwich! It will really fill you up!
Our favorite quick meal is taco soup. It's a lot like chili, but even yummier. Lots of canned veggies and spices along with lots of 'toppings.' Great on cold evenings and makes the BEST leftovers.
Anything you can put in or on a whole wheat tortilla- beans and cheese, rice and cheese, flat in toaster oven with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni for a mini pizza.
Family favorite is chicken pot pie - with stuff we have in the pantry. Refrig pie crust, canned chicken breast, cream of potato soup, canned peas, or other veggies, a little salt, pepper & greek seasoning, then brush the top pie crust w/egg, and voila - delish!
My quick meal favorite is throwing Barilla Plus spaghetti noodles, a bag of frozen Broccoli stir fry, and a bag of frozen medium cooked shrimp into a pot of boiling water until the noodles are done. Drain and add 2 tablespoons of Balance Butter and stir until melted. Serve.
It's a delicious, full meal.
Our favorite quick meal is Sloppy Joes made with Manwich and Macaroni and Cheese. The meal can be done in about 20 minutes.
chicken cutlets and green beans
i melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with 1/4c mustard....beat well, dip chicken cutlets in the mix, then dip in breading of choice (panko or italian breadcrumbs work well) put on greased cookie sheet and bake 20-25min at 375. in the meantime, i heat green beans and boil water for minute rice...delicious and quick balanced meal!
My favorite is a quick baked spaghetti dish that has a twist to it that reminds me a little bit of lasagna. My picky children love it so it is always a hit!! It has tomatoe sauce to cover an 11 X 13 casserole dish. Then I add cooked spaghetti noodles to cover the tomatoe sauce. (About 8 oz). Then I next layer a mixture of 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 8 oz of Ricotto cheese (mixed together). I add oregano and garlic powder and minced onions to taste. My last layer is a 1 lb. of browned hamburger mixed with 1 large jar of your favorite Spaghetti Sauce. Bake this for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Last of all, add cheddar cheese or monteray jack cheese and bake for 15 more minutes. If you like, you can add pepperoni's on top before you add the cheese! Cut it and serve with salad and bread. YUM YUM!! Leftovers are even better!! :)

Angel Hair Pasta with McCormick's Pesto Sauce Mix. Kids (big and small) love noodles :)
Eileen M. Wright
I like homemade chili (with rice or spaghetti), or homemade pizza.
Our emergency comfort meal is always on hand with a jar of our favorite organic pasta sauce and a box of whole wheat pasta. My family loves the frozen biscuits from Schwan's; so in less than twenty minutes we have a hot meal complete with rolls!
My quick and easy recipe is mac and cheese with ground beef and canned tomatoes. Brown the hamburger, make the mac and cheese per the package and them mix all ingredients together.
we love quick mini-pizzas. We use English Muffins, soft tortillas, or flat bread, spread with thin layer of Prego, top with pepperoni and cheese (mushrooms and peppers for dd16) and put in the toaster oven until the cheese has melted!
Took a survey at home and baked mac n' cheese with ham is our quick meal winner!
A favorite quick meal is our version of Swedish Meatballs. Thaw some basic frozen meatballs in the microwave while you warm a can of cream of mushroom soup with just a few spoons of water on the stove.
Add a few drops of kitchen bouquet (makes the sauce a light brown) and some nutmeg, and then meatballs. Gradually add watter to thin sauce to your liking. Serve over wide noddles and your good to go!
Spaghetti and meatballs - made in the crockpot. Just put frozen meatballs, 28 oz can of diced tomatos, 28 oz can of crushed tomatos and let it cook all day. Then serve with pasta. It is wonderful!
Our favorite quick meal is a Mexican Shepherd's Pie Delicious and you only mess up one saute pan, one mixing bowl, and one baking dish
And it taste great the next day
Our favorite quick meal is grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. Yummy! Everyone has their favorite toppings like sour cream, grated cheese, crackers or all of them!
Our favorite quick meal is Tator tot Casserole.
Favorite quickie meal is fish sticks and instant mashed potatoes. To my son it is the meal fit for a "King"!
Our favorite quick meal is pasta and tomato sauce or pizza.
We turn to the back of the Bisquik or Jiffy baking mix box - Cheeseburger pie is a favorite - we add a little worchestershire sauce in the browned meat for more flavor (beef or turkey works), add a side of steamed brocolli and voila' - dinner for five. Also on the back of that handy little box are dumplings, biscuits for "breakfast for dinner", pizza casserole, and an incredibly easy and yummy chicken pot pie! Tip: save the back of the box and slide it into your new box, so you don't miss any recipes.....
On busy weekday nights, our family enjoys a pizza from the freezer with a salad. I usually pick up a lettuce bag at the grocery store and keep an assortment of toppings on hand- croutons, sunflower seeds, crunchy noodles and bacon bits. Add balsamic vinaigrette dressing to the salad, open a bottle of red wine and this simple meal turns into an Italian feast. :o)
This sounds delicious and easy.
This is one of my favorite meals. :o)
