Spring break childcare
Spring break is rapidly approaching (Feb. 9). Since I am a working mother I need to find a fun, safe place for my seven yo and ten yo to stay while I am at work. I just spoke with a great person at Right Track Academy, but an 8 AM dropoff will not work since that is when I have to start my work day. Any suggestions?

do you have any relatives?? That's always the easiest way in my opinion, many times free and safe
Try the YMCA. Expensive but safe.
Thanks for the ideas...our relatives are elderly and in poor health, but the children are pretty self-sufficient and could benefit from "taking care" of their grandparents. Might wear out my in-laws though! ajmarkin - thanks, I called the Y. They were very nice and you are right, very expensive. I am keeping them as a possibility!
Have you looked at Marbles, state art museum? I know both do track out camps so might have something that week.
And there might be something with Raleigh parks: http://www.raleighnc.gov/portal/server.pt/gateway/PTARGS_0_0_306_209_0_4...
Good luck!
Right Track Academy is excellent! Also, Carolinaparent.com has directories on their website offering a lot of options.
Also wonderful: RDU Tennis, Piedmont Wildlife, Gotta Dance and Marbles. Good Luck! If you only need part time entertainment, Right Time Kids is great and affordable and there are three of them so it's convenient.
