Store Brands: Deals or Duds?
What store brand items do you use and like? Which store brand items aren't worth the savings?
We use:
Target brand wipes and really like them. They do not "pop up" as well as Pampers, but they are fragrance/alcohol free and they are a little textured, which helps with messes.
Target brand Up and Up formula. It has the same ingredients and nutrition info as Enfamil, but is half price. Baby didn't notice we had switched.
Food Lion brand Taco Dinner kit. Tasted like the Ortega.
We did not like:
Archer Farms frozen pizza. Chicken was gross.
Archer Farms cereals. They are loaded with junk! No natural sweeteners.

Great topic!
I never liked store-brand diapers. They always ended up leaking on me and causing more laundry. I think we tried Target, CVS and K-Mart brands. One exception: Target's pull-ups worked fine.
I haven't had any complaints with any Trader Joe's products. Every one that I've tried has been yummy and cheaper.
I also don't mind many of Costco's products - Kirkland paper towels and toilet paper and the organic raisin bran are the ones we usually get.
I always buy store brand on canned beans - black, kidney, etc. And I don't mind Kroger's cereals - we've tried their chex, shredded wheat and corn flakes. Can't do the Kroger - or any other store's - Cheerios though.
