Tax-Free Shopping
So are you celebrating this weekend's tax holiday by shopping?
I'm definitely getting some art supplies for a long flight to Alaska that I'll be taking with my daughter next month. Hmm - and maybe a winter coat and warm clothes for while we're there.
So what did you get? Share your deals, experiences, places to avoid.

We were at Target in North Hills last night around 7 p.m. and I was surprised that not many people were there - it was like a normal night.
I'm so psyched about my "steal" today:
I bought a $224 Garfield&Marks classic black sheath dress at Belk for $7.99!
Here's how:
Regular price: $224
Sale price: $55.98
Red dot special/50% off sale price: $27.99
Belk bonus bucks coupon worth $20: $7.99
And no tax!
The only downside was the dress needed a bit of alteration, which was expensive because it involves altering the lining, too. Total on that was $18.
Still, a $224 dress for $25.99 is pretty sweet. And I can wear it to work or for some dressy occasions.
P.S.
I was at Crabtree today and it was busy but not as crowded as you might expect.
Wow! I'm going out for a couple hours child free this afternoon. Will probably be heading to Crabtree. I hope there's something left!
