Toy recalls

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced that Target has agreed to pay a $600,000 civil penalty for allegedly violating the federal lead paint ban on toys. These toys, which include Kool Toyz Products, Anima - Bamboo Collection Games, Happy Giddy Gardening Tools and Sunny Patch Chairs), have been recalled.

Other recently announced recalls include Daiso wooden toys, which have small parts that can break and detach, posing a choking hazard to young children, and other Daiso toys, which are in violation of lead paint and phthalate limits.
