D. It would be great to see the circus master in action...I need all the pointers I can get. Taking care of my clowns (two children, the dog, the fish and the guinea pig (oh, the husband too)), makes my balancing act feel like it is teetering over the lions' cage!
D. A true circus here. I have a clown (teenage son), a tightrope walker (me balancing the job of mom and dad to two kids) and one of those acrobats that twirls around on the rope ( that would be my college age daughter who appears to be going around in circles some of the time) and then we throw in the animals ( 3 labs) it is a circus of magnificent proportions. Never have to leave the house to enjoy the show!!!
A. NO
I'M GLAD THE CIRCUS HAS TRAVELING FAMILIES.
WE JUST LIKE BEING AT HOME IN 1 PLACE.
WE DO ENJOY OUR FAMILY TRIPS, BUT NOT ALL YEAR LONG.
I have never been to a circus, but I live one everyday.I am a full time working Mom, and I also am the taxi, nurse, etc... I take care of patients all day and then I come home to chaos, just like the circus. I would love a chance to take my boys to see a real circus. Then I can decide which is worse. I would love a chance to get out of making dinner one night to go to the real circus, plus I can bribe my kids with it.
I think I dreamed of running off to the circus when I was younger, because the lion tamer was cute. Now, I would definitely have to say "No". I could just hear my teenagers complaining every day about how bad the elephants smelled or something. :-)
My Answer: B..... Definitley!! In fact for the last 4 years I have been a clown for Halloween. Life should be fun, and the best feeling in the world is making another person laugh and smile.................Sometimes you just have to let loose.
B. Like all moms I sometimes dream about running away. If it's the circus that picking up - so be it. Maybe I'll even get to ride the elephants.
E. Other. Sometimes I'd like to send my husband away with the circus. Hahaha. He's used to working with clowns. ;-)
But seriously, the vagabond life isn't for me. I love my family and home too much....and I guess my husband can stay, too. :-)
Have I ever dreamed of running off to the circus? With three little boys and a husband in my house I already live in a circus. The two year old scales the shelves in the pantry, tightrope walks on the back of the couch, stacks the couch pillows and puts his big wheel on top and tries to ride off of it, gets himself stuck in the guinea pig cage, etc. The older two, 9 & 8, try out their gymnastic skills daily when flipping each other in the air with their feet, climbing trees in the backyard, shooting contests with their b-b guns, etc. My husband is the ringmaster and tries to keep them all in order. I feel like the spectator just watching the show. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's scary, but it's always entertaining and I am just happy to be a part of it.
D. Sometimes my home is a circus. My 18 month old loves animals and will even walk around the house making cute animal noises. Her favorite right now is saying "hooo hooo" like an owl!
D. My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one.
I live with a 2 year old lion and a 4 year old elephant!
D. My house is already a circus. I can barely keep up!
Nope, My house is a circus already! With kids in & out all day. It is wonderful :)
No, I think of "escaping" to a quiter place for a few minutes. But permanently, never!
A. I'm a creature of comfort and the constant moving around would send me over the edge!
D. 2 Kids, husband, work, school volunteers - our lives are a wonderful, 3 ring circus to start with - who wouldn't want to see the other side :)
D.My house is already a circus, so I don't need to run away & join one. 2 cats, 2 dogs, 3 yr old grandson, countless bird feeders outside--we have wonderful animal acts going on at all times. Plus, the "good/bad wolf" is often outside the front door, or in the backyard, and once, he was hiding in a houseplant container in the house.
A. I'm just too much of a homebody to even think of such a thing. But I really do love those miniature horses - wonder if I could get one for the yard? They're smaller than my dog!
D. My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one.
This is such a good answer! We have 7 children and each one is a very unique individual who adds so much to our family. We have lots of pets so there are always animal shows to watch. The kids are all clowns. They always make us laugh. And cry, too. We wouldn't have it any other way.
Yes, in fact I have - as a girl, about 8 years old. I never can stay in one location for too long, I like to travel around. So as a child I thought joining the circus some day would be perfect....well, things changed as I got older....
A. No but I would like to take my grand daughter to see the circus for the first time.
Of course B!!!!! My life as the lion trainer, the master of the circus, the clown and the trapeze artist, all in one. I am a stay at home mom who just moved here from NY (upstate). NC seems like a whole different country. I'm trying to cope with all the change. The school system and the loss of jobs is to much. I would love to go to the circus so I can feel like Im home even though Im not.
D. . My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one
I would love to join the circus. I would probably just be a cook for the performers, but that is an important job too. Besides I am a great baker and could make the fat lady fatter.
Yes I have an I wanted to be a flying trapeze artist and a lion tamer !!!
A. No, I enjoy the fun of the circus when it comes to town, but prefer my homelife way too much!
NO!!!! Fun to watch, especially with kids (and cotton candy) but on the whole, too stinky for me!
E. I always wanted to be a trapeze artist but I had to settle for swinging on the swings.
A. No. If I were able to run away to ANYTHING, it would be to a tropical island to lay out on the sand and just chill! My life is hectic and mostly I dream of a quiet, peaceful retreat.
D. My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one.
My 10-year-old has been to just about everything Raleigh has to offer, but he has never once seen the circus! That is a rite of passage, isn't it? Since we now also have a 2-year-old in the house, I would really like to take both of my boys this year and show them what the "big top" is all about!
d. I love the clowns getting out of that little bitty car! How do they do that???
No, I am a Home body!! I could not handle all that travelling.
D. My home already is a circus with two little girls determined to learn how to turn the living room into the main event.
D. Not only is my home life a circus, my office is also a circus.
E. I always wondered what it would be like to be in a different town every night and see all the crowds and hear all the laughter of the kids.
D- With 4 kids, their friends, 3 dogs, a turantula, a snake, a turtle, fish, and a bearded dragon......maybe I'm on to something here? How about a circus/zoo combo!
TCJOHNSON
No, I have never thought about running away to join the circus. It would be nice to see since I have never seen one in my life.
D. My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one. I live in a circus with a 2 year old son who thinks he's a monkey, 2 dogs, and a husband who acts like a clown all the time. Why do I need to run away to join them. But maybe the idea of running away sounds good...but I would definitely have to find somewhere quieter to run to than the circus. How about the beach??hmmm... But I do love my family....
No my house is already a circus, I have a 4 year old dare devil, and 4 dogs and a wonderful husabnd, but i'd love to take my son the only problem would be he'd try to walk a tight rope or something when we got home :)
Have I ever dreamed of joining the circus! B. All the time! What could be better than laughing out loud with clowns all day or riding ponies in the afternoon with a poodle chasing behind you. And don't forget the shiney lights, music, and cotton candy.
D. The only thing that this circus lacks is the make-up. Those clowns have it all over me!!
We have our own little circus here at home everyday! Why run off to join one! But we do like the time to leave our circus and go see someone elses.
did it, for 2 years, but trust me....it is only something you can do when you are younger. I was 19 and it was a dream come true.
Can't say that I have...the animal stench might be a little much for me.
If I could I would join the circus today as it would probably be a much easier life than I have now! ;-)
D. My house already is a circus so I don't need to run away to join one.
Although I do juggle rather well. :)
I actually know of someone who ran away and joined the circus, my daughter's college room mate.
She (my daughter) is also dating someone whose father is a rocket scientist.
I am a Gramma so if I joined the circus, as cool as my grandson would think it is, I would be consigned to elephant poop scooper.
I have not been to the circus since I was 7 years old. My son will ask when is the circus comming back aleast once a week. With my husbanc beeing layed off from the N&O we will not be able to attend this year. But just watching my son and his sister run around the house is like being in a circus everyday.
My answer would have to be A. No. I love to take my daughter, Candice, to the circus. She is 9 years old now, and she really enjoys the circus. I am visually impaired, so I can not tell what is going on most of the time, but Candice keeps me up to date!
