Another giveaway, another silly question.
This time, you could win one weeks worth of track-out camp for one child at the N.C. Museum of Art. That's a $250 value (though this prize is not redeemable for cash). The winner must redeem it by May 2009.
Kids in the art museum's track-out camps, for ages 6 to 12, draw, paint, sculpt, take nature walks, and get involved in interactive arts, such as music, creative movement, storytelling and poetry. Great for year-round school kids, homeschoolers and anyone else looking for a creative outlet for their kids. Click here to learn more.

Finger paint...acrylic paint... water color paint....paint, paint, paint sounds like the most fun to me today.
I think other. Everything can be art in our house. Macaroni and glitter glue are the current materials being used right now.

I love them because you can take them anywhere. With Crayons and Markers you can turn waiting for an appointment into an art time.
I'm going with E for other. We are constantly trying out new things from glitter glue, paints, and puffy stickers to accidental mediums such as marshmallow fluff and jello.

My 8 yr old, the one I would send to this camp if I won, loves to use charcoals when he draws.
When Im in an artistic mode, I love to use paints.

E. Other - apparently my son loves white out. He has decided to paint an antique chair with liquid white out, we have a nice line going from upstairs all the way downstairs in our entry way, and he has special drawings on other pieces of furniture too.
I am with the crayon and marker - however I am not very crafty.

Cutting and pasteing (glueing). It is a fundamental skill that is used from the earliest ages of childhood and periodically all through adulthood. If a child has cut and pasted a lot throughout young childhood. Those fine motorskills are clearly visible through their teen years along with their creativity.
We love water color because you can take it anywhere and it is fun!

B & C We like popsicle sticks and wiggly eyes..gluesticks. Basically we can get creative with any material.
Finger paint is always fun....and a true masterpiece.

my 5-year-old daughter is definitely into painting / drawing....anything that has to do with painting, especially. She loves to fingerpaint, but she's actually 'moved on' to using alot of different brushes and definitely imitating good ol' Bob Ross quite a bit... it's really cute and she does a great job! :-)

Crayons and markers are plentiful in our house and they travel well too!
We prefer markers, both skinny and fat ones - there are lots of great colors and they are more vibrant than crayons!

We all love finger painting...(outside)....The messier, the better!!!
I also forgot to mention that my oldest, who is disabled, is AMAZING at making earrings! That is her thing, so I will have to go for E. ,other, on her behalf...I can not be as tedious as she can, so I help "organize" beads, while she creates beauty to make herself some fun money!

Me and my two boys love to use finger paint.
Definitely finger paint. As a tactile person there is nothing better than feeling the paint on your fingers. It's relaxing, messy, and has a way of releasing the childish creativity of every person. Plus every artwork literally has its own fingerprint.
I like to use crayons and markers because there are so many different effects that can be created.
