Trick or Treat Costume Shopping
Finally! Fall is here. Football tailgates, Thanksgiving turkey and Halloween candy! And yes, apparently my all my seasonal favorites revolve around food. But they also revolve around costumes it seems – football jerseys for my husband, pilgrim dresses for my daughter and it looks like it’s going to be a werewolf of some sort for my son this year.
Sounds great until I start looking at prices. The Peyton Manning jersey looks to be close to $75. The pilgrim dress is a steal at $20. And the werewolf could cost me anywhere from $25 - $100! But, at least I’m not a lone – I recently heard the average family spends nearly $40 a child on Halloween costumes. Now that is scary!
But, if you’re like me and want to buck the trend – check out these sites for some creative ideas and cheap shopping.

I mean really, when can you ever go wrong with Disney? Plus, I don’t think my kids would ever go for it, but spaghetti and meatballs would be so cute!
