Walnut Street Park in Cary

Joe Miller on the N&O's Get Out! Get Fit! blog has some interesting news and photos about the Walnut Street Park over in Cary.

Seems this will be the first of its kind for Cary -- and probably the area since Cary seems to be ahead of most in the playground department, but somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

"One other thing that's interesting about the Nexus equipment," Joe writes. "Playground equipment is generally broken into two categories: that for kids 2-5 and for kids 5-12. The age range on this equipment 7-14. This is purely anecdotal, but I find that kids generally aren't ready to part with a good playground experience when they hit 12."

Here's the full post.
