Win Tickets! See Giant Dinosaurs!

THIS CONTEST IS CLOSED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED! YOU WERE SO CREATIVE!

Our first winner is Sinae Santillo.

Our second winner is Kristen Crosson.

The dinosaurs are coming to the RBC Center for a five-day, eight-show run Oct. 22 to Oct. 26 and TriangleMom2Mom has tickets!

Walking With Dinosaurs is a $20 million arena spectacle based on the award-winning BBC Television series and featuring giant life-sized dinosaurs. The show depicts the dinosaurs' evolution spanning their 200 million year reign.

And all the big ones will be there - the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus and, the biggest of them all, the Brachiosaurus, which is 36 feet tall and 56 feet long from nose to tail. I'm told the show is absolutely mesmerizing.

And we have two packs of four tickets to the opening show at 7 p.m., Oct. 22.

How can you win one of these fantastic prizes?

Be sure you're logged on to Mom2Mom. (If you're not, just go to the top of the screen, click "Join Us" and fill out the form. It's FREE and easy. Your newsobserver.com or Triangle.com password works here too).

And then answer this question by noon, Friday, Oct. 3.

If you were a dinosaur, who would you be?

A. Barney, because I'm lovable and like it when everybody cleans up and does their share.

B. Dorothy the Dinosaur, because I'm open, friendly, warm, and love roses and ballet.

C. T. Rex from Jurassic Park, because I'm a force to be reckoned with.

D. This is an idiotic question and I'm not going to honor it with a real response. But I still want tickets to Walking With Dinosaurs. Thanks Mom2Mom!

E. Other, please explain.

Contest rules: To enter, make sure you are registered as a member of TriangleMom2Mom.com and participate in the "Win Tickets! See Giant Dinosaurs!" forum by noon, Oct. 3. Banter back and forth is welcome and encouraged, but should be relevant to the topic of discussion. No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years or older to enter. Employees of The News & Observer Publishing Co. and McClatchy Interactive and their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes but may join TriangleMom2Mom and participate in site activities. Prize winners will be selected by random drawing from all registered users of TriangleMom2Mom who participate in the Win Tickets! See Giant Dinosaurs! forum as of 12:01 p.m., Oct. 3. Odds of winning dependent on number of entries. Winners' names will be posted on the site.

E. Mommy-e-o-saurus. What my 5-year old calls me when we play "dinos." What's required: chasing each other around the living room and growling (or whatever dinosaurs did....) to scare each other.

BarDoroRex because as a mother of twin boys I have to be lovable and like it when everybody cleans up and does their share, open, friendly, warm, and love roses and ballet (being the only woman in the house), & a force to be reckoned with (otherwise there would be mutiny in my home on a daily basis). I think any mother has to have a part of each dino to be a well rounded mom.

PS I learned all this from my son, the seven year-old paleontologist.

nonstoposaurus...balancing a career and raising 2 boys keeps me on my toes. I have two little dinosaurs of my own -- ages 5 and 3 and they would just love to see this show.

C. T. Rex from Jurassic Park, because I'm a force to be reckoned with.

And, my kids really dig them!

E. Barnothy Rex : )
Because I love for things to be clean and organized, I'm very loving but still a force to be reckoned with when needed.

E. Other...a mammal, because mammals evolved and survived to today (the jury is still out about whether dinosaurs became birds!)

Is this a trick question? If I were a dinosaur, I would be...
