Working Didn't Do It.

Just watching "Good Morning America" and heard Somer Thompson's mother tell Robin Roberts that she feels if she wasn't a working mom this horrible tragedy wouldn't have happened.  Isn't that sad?

Have the mommy wars gone so far that it now makes sense for a working mother to consider herself as much to blame for her daughter's abduction as the perpetrator?

It's natural to try and make sense of the senseless by framing it in ways we can understand.  If only I'd done something different.  If only I'd been in control.

But when a single mom's coping mechanism puts her in the same category of blame as a child killer,  it's a social cue.  All moms are on the same team.   That's my opinion from this point on.

It's one thing I can control.
