The New Hope Valley Railway and N.C. Railroad Museum will be open and offer rides on its diesel and steam engines. The railway is open monthly from May to December and also features exhibits and live music. As many as 1,000 people come out each month.

The Festival for the Eno, now in its 29th year, is a huge three-day festival with live music, activities, crafts, food and more.

Rock to music about all things Harry Potter. The concert features four bands - Draco and the Malfoys, The Remus Lupins, The Whomping Willow and Justin Finch-Fletchley and the Sugar Quills.

This is the City of Raleigh's summer concert series at Fletcher Park off Glenwood Avenue inside Raleigh's Beltline.

Lots of families come with picnic dinners to listen to the music and let the kids run wild.
