The Paperhand Puppet Intervention performs its annual summer festival at the outdoor Forest Theatre on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus. The Paperhand Puppet Intervention is behind the great puppets at many local festivals and performances, including Artsplosure and First Night in Raleigh. Tickets available only at the door. The festival runs Aug. 15-17, Aug. 22-24, Aug. 29-31 and Sept. 5-7 at Forest Theatre. It's Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 at the N.C. Museum of Art in Raleigh. Start: 7:00 pm
