Hunter Jumper Horse Show with free admission (except for Saturday night's Grand Prix. Gates open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m.).

The 24th annual Duke Children's Benefit Horse Show is the largest hunter-jumper show in the Southeast featuring nearly a week of competition from the United States and Canada. The show also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how horses are cared for, trained and shown. Events run until the evening each night except for Sunday when things will wrap up by 5 p.m.

MOMS - take time for yourself and get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping.

Join us at Cameron Village Regional Library for a storytime aimed at children that can walk up two years of age. This 20 minute program consists of stories, songs, flannel boards and more!

End: 11:00 am

A fun, guided walk through Durant Nature Park for the youngest kids and their parents. A park manager tells me the walk happens every Thursday at 10 a.m., except holidays. If just one family shows up, she'll still take them for a walk.

A storytime at the free N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. Hear a book and meet a few of the museum's critters.

Join us at Cameron Village Regional Library for a storytime aimed at children that are in preschool or about to enter preschool. This 30 minute program consists of stories, songs, flannel boards and more! 
Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00 a.m. through December 6th. 
No registration required.
