Hunter Jumper Horse Show with free admission (except for Saturday night's Grand Prix. Gates open at 6 p.m. Show starts at 8 p.m.).

The 24th annual Duke Children's Benefit Horse Show is the largest hunter-jumper show in the Southeast featuring nearly a week of competition from the United States and Canada. The show also offers a behind-the-scenes look at how horses are cared for, trained and shown. Events run until the evening each night except for Sunday when things will wrap up by 5 p.m.

Falls River Town Center, located 1.5 miles from the intersection of Falls of the Neuse and Durant Road in Raleigh near I-540, is hosting a free festival and food drive Friday, November 7 to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. The outdoor festival will feature cover band Mo Jones: Pleasure to Burn. Guests are encouraged to bring two non-perishable food items as entry. For the event, Kido's is offering free childcare for the first ten customers, and Tone Up Raleigh is providing free childcare and showing a movie for kids ages six to 12.
