Durham Bulls Baseball hosts Autism Awareness Night

The Autism Society of North Carolina and the Durham Bulls are teaming up to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder and funds to support the work and mission of the Autism Society of North Carolina.

On June 1, the Durham Bulls will host the Pawtucket Red Sox. To help raise awareness, the Austism Society will pass out information about autism spectrum disorder as well as answer questions. A pregame ceremony as well as special awareness info will be shared throughout the game.

To raise money, the Bulls' team and coaches will wear special jerseys. After the game, the jerseys will be cleaned, autographed by the player or coach that wore the jersey and auctioned off online beginning June 2. The team also is selling special $10 tickets to the game. The society will receive $4 each.
