First Friday Exhibit Reception: In Search of a New Deal
The North Carolina Museum of History is having an exhibit reception for In Search of a New Deal. The reception will be held on November 6th from 7 – 9pm. Enjoy food and beverage, and take a guided tour of this traveling exhibit featuring Farm Security Administration photographs documenting rural life in Depression-era North Carolina. UNC-TV will present an episode about Seabiscuit, a racehorse that became a symbol of triumph over adversity during the Depression. This film will be shown at 7:00 and 8:15.
