Join us for a free North Carolina Symphony concert on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 4pm at Meymandi Concert Hall, Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Come celebrate Memorial Day weekend and hear masterful works from Debussy, Mozart and Gershwin. This concert features music from our upcoming 2008-09 Education Concerts that are performed across the state.

Resident Conductor William Henry Curry and the orchestra will demonstrate the five fundamentals of classical music: melody, tempo, texture, rhythm, and dynamics in pieces which reflect the diverse cultures of the world. A great FREE event for the whole family!

Seating is general admission and doors open at 3:30pm. Concert is courtesy of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, the City of Raleigh, Wake County, and the North Carolina Symphony.
