New Hope Valley Railway & N.C. Railroad Museum
The New Hope Valley Railway and N.C. Railroad Museum will be open and offer rides on its diesel and steam engines. The railway is open monthly from May to December and also features exhibits and live music. As many as 1,000 people come out each month.
Departure times for the trains are 11 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4 p.m. Be sure to arrive at least 35 minutes before your desired departure to get a seat.
