Paid Sick Days Town Hall Meeting!

Right now there is no law that protects people from losing their jobs if they have to stay home sick. That's right -- in North Carolina you can get fired just for having the flu! We're working to change that.
Come to a Town Hall meeting at the Durham Main Library to learn more about the growing movement to pass a Paid Sick Days law in North Carolina. At the meeting you will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback about the proposed law, share your own story about why Paid Sick Days matter to you, and work with other MomsRising members to write letters and make videos for legislators about why Paid Sick Days are so important.
Join us! Here are the details (and kids are encouraged to come too!):
What: Paid Sick Days Town Hall--learn about the issue, share your own story about why paid sick days are important to you, and meet others who are working to pass this important law!
Where: Durham Main Public Library
