The Raleigh Dance Theatre will present Fancy Nancy: Bonjour Butterfly at Cameron Village Library at 11:00am on September 12, 2009. The performance is a preview of the company's 25th season.

RDT will open its season with its popular family-oriented production of Storybook Tales on Saturday, October 10, at 11:00am and 3:00pm, and Sunday, October 11, at 3:00pm. Storybook Tales will bring back two RDT favorites; Mary LeGere’s Fancy Nancy: Bonjour Butterfly, based on the popular children’s book by Jane O’Connor with illustrations by Robin Preiss Glasser as well as Jennifer Sommers’ Alice in Wonderland based on the fairytale classic. The 2009-2010 season will close with RDT’s Spring Repertoire on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm showcasing this pre-professional training company’s dancers in classical and contemporary repertoire. Storybook Tales and Spring Repertoire performances will be held in Fletcher Opera Theater at Raleigh’s Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. General admission tickets for both performances are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Group rates are also available.

The Sept. 12 performance at Cameron Village Library is free.
