Wonderful Wednesdays - Raleigh

A Wednesday afternoon series at the N.C. Museum of Art featuring live performances for kids.

A free drop-in craft is offered on the same days from noon to 3 p.m. Performances start at 1 p.m.

June 11: Fiesta! A Celebration of Life in Latin America with Cantare
Sing, dance and learn about the cultures that shape the music.

June 18: Following the Rhythm with Alex Weiss and Different Drum
Come aboard for a musical adventure from South America to Africa

June 25: Bug Juice with Rags to Riches Theatre for Young People
Join a colorful cast of insects in this zany play about a fortune-seeking fly.

July 9: Gems: Stories of Wisdom from Around the World with Doug Berky
Masks, mime and puppetry present world tales honoring hope, freedom and justice

July 16: It's All in a Book with the Two Bells
Storytelling, music and mime animate traditional and African folktales

July 23: Meet the Music with Scott Ainslie
Clap and sing along as you hear the African roots of America's music
